Every project has a distinct timeline, however, robust brand identities with numerous deliverables can take between 4 - 8 months.
As a small design studio, we’re intentionally selective on which projects to take on in order to focus our resources to deliver the best results.

Since projects and clients come in all shapes and sizes, there’s no one-size-fits-all solution to pricing. As such, we build proposal based on your project requirements and needs. We recommend getting in touch to preliminary discussion to scope your project so we can create a custom proposal to your requirements.

Custom Letterpress
In a fast-moving digital world, letterpress invites us to slow down. This centuries-old printing method leaves a tactile impression—both literally and emotionally—by pressing inked designs deep into thick, beautiful paper.
At Kona & Birch, every piece is printed one color at a time, one sheet at a time, on presses that are collectively over 350 years old. Each print is hand-fed, carefully aligned, and made with intention—resulting in work that feels personal, enduring, and deeply considered.

Our Process
Whether it is a visual identity, website design or custom letterpress, our studio follows a multi-phase approach to projects.
PHASE 01 | Insight!
In this phase we deepen our understanding you, your needs and competitive landscape. The purpose of this phase is to immerse ourselves in the mindsets and motivations of your potential audience and gather valuable insights that can be carried out through the exploration of the visual identity.
PHASE 02 | Visual Exploration
Now that we know what’s special about you, the artistry begins. In this phase, we create the visual and verbal elements that define your brand. We’ll present you with three concepts for your logo, colors, and fonts, and we’ll illustrate the potential of the brand through 1 or 2 conceptual examples that visualize how the elements can be used on future communications.
PHASE 03 | Visual Refinement
Based on your feedback, we will further explore one concept and refine it. With your input, we’ll create a slate of design mockups that demonstrate the visual identity system in in tailored applications.
PHASE 04| Activation
& Production
In this phase, your visual identity system is ready for its debut! To ensure consistency (and ease) in application, we will issue a logo identity guidelines as well as prepare final art / layout files formatted for your intended purpose (print/digital).
